Easley, SC –Baptist Easley Hospital is now accepting applications for student volunteers for summer month service beginning June 18. The summer youth program is offered to students from ages 13 to 22 and students must be 13 by June 1 to participate. The program has a limited number of student volunteer slots available, so those wishing to participate are encouraged to meet the deadline for applications on May 24.

Each volunteer is required to fill out an application. Once the application is accepted, a mandatory half-day orientation session will be offered. Amy Howard, Baptist Easley Hospital Volunteer Manager, will work with student volunteers to help them choose areas in which they would like to work and to establish schedules. The goal is to place volunteers in the areas that are related to their skills and interests. Last year, the hospital had 54 volunteer students in this program.
