WREN — Wren High School graduate D.J. Brown will offer a basketball skill training workout beginning June 7.

The training will consist of shooting techniques, ball handling, passing and one-on-one moves. The cost is $20 for one player, with a minimum session of 50 minutes, or $30 for two players, with a minimum session of 50 minutes.

Brown, who currently plays with Spartanburg Methodist College, leads his team and Region X in 3-point shooting, with a 47 percent average.

While he was a student at Wren, he was a member of the Region 1-AAAA conference title team and played in the Upper state Championship at the Littlejohn Coliseum. He holds the record for the most 3-point shots made at Wren High.

“He does a fantastic job and will work as much as anyone is willing to come,” said Wren High School girls basketball Coach Lynn Hicks.
