Soccer club hosts run

POWDERSVILLE — Tri-County Soccer Club hosted the 3rd annual Prime Line Communications Fast Track 5K and Fun Run.

Runners from across the upstate came to compete in the 5K, Fun Run or CrossFit Challenge presented by CrossFit Easley…nearly 200 total participants!

Area elementary schools were issued a challenge - the school with the highest representation was to be awarded a soccer equipment package for their P.E. department. The package,worth over $700, was provided by Academy Sports and Outdoors and included equipment such as soccer goals, soccer balls, disc cones and practice pinnies. Wren Elementary stepped up to meet the call with 31 participants as volunteers or racers.
