POWDERSVILLE — Attention, golfers: The Powdersville Business Council is giving you a chance to hit the links and show your support for the council.

The Powdersville Business Council will hold its annual Golf Tournament Friday, Oct. 7 at Southern Oaks Golf Course in Piedmont.

The event begins at 8 a.m. with range balls and a breakfast provided by Chick-fil-A of Easley.

The tourney begins with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. At 1:30 p.m., cash prizes will be awarded and golfers will enjoy lunch, courtesy of Arby’s of Easley and Powdersville.

The cost for the tournament is $100 per person or $400 per team. The cost includes breakfast, lunch, range balls and drinks.

Mulligans are also available.

Sponsorships are available at a number of levels. For $1,500 you or your business can be the Presenting Sponsor. The Presenting Sponsorship includes a team of four entered in the tournament, your company banner displayed at the front entrance, the ability to put goodies in the participants’ bags, King for the Day, an introduction speech, newspaper recognition, a chance to present the trophies and prizes, and a designated location for your tent.

Platinum Tent Sponsorships are available for $250. These sponsors are encouraged to bring goodies to give away as they will have a chance to meet every team participating in the tournament. Platinum sponsors will be assigned a hole for their tent.

Gold Hole Sponsorships are available for $100.

These sponsors will receive their name on the sign at the tee box.
