Does recent video of the Masters Golf Tournament have you primed to be the next golfing super star?
General Manager of Smithfield Country Club’s Golf Course, Adam Relan, PGA General Manager & Director of Golf, would suggest a look at what his Easley course has to offer this weekend for helping you get there.
Anyone can take a look at recent improvements to the course and get advice from those who know equipment and where to go to train at least to improve your game even if they don’t reach for superstardom.
The event weekend is the Country Club’s Range Party and Demo Day. It goes on Saturday noon to 5 p.m.
On hand will be representatives of TaylorMade, Titleist, Ping and Callaway Golf, suppliers of golfing equipment.
The South Carolina Junior Golf Association will be on hand from 1pm to 3pm and will offer kids a free golf club
Although public play of the course won’t be possible because of an on-going tournament, Relan will be on hand to show off the course and talk about recent improvements since the addition of Course Superintendent Larry Brown last August.
Relan came to Smithfield as assistant golf pro 10 years ago. “The course looks better now than I have seen it,” he said. He offers those who come to Demo Day the opportunity to set a time in the near future for a complimentary game and to talk about several new opportunities for membership.
