Class to Prepare Commercial Electricians Starts May 29

PENDLETON —- Tri-County Technical College’s Construction Training Center will be offering a Commercial Electrical Wiring I class from May 29 - July 12 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Pendleton Campus. (There will be no classes on June 19 and 21, and July 3 and 5).

Students who would like to take the Commercial Wiring I class need to have at least two years of experience in the field before taking this course, or to have taken Residential Electrical Wiring I & II. At the end of this course, students will understand the basics of commercial wiring. Topics include electrical safety; Ohm’s law including series and parallel circuits; proper conductor sizing; voltage drops; electrical grounds; raceways; and conduit bending.
