STATE — U.S. Congressman Gresham Barrett’s gubernatorial campaign today unveiled its new website, www.GreshamBarrett.com, which will serve as the campaign’s online headquarters allowing visitors to learn more about Gresham Barrett, give input on the issues and get involved with the campaign. The website will also serve as the organizational backbone of the campaign empowering supporters to recruit volunteers, solicit contributions and spread Gresham Barrett’s conservative message.

“The serious challenges facing South Carolina require conservative solutions,” said Jim Dyke, Campaign Adviser. “Our website tells Gresham Barrett’s story and shows why his life experiences – in running a small business, serving in the military, raising a family and leading in elected office – give him a unique conservative perspective on the challenges we face and how to fix them.”

As Barrett’s run for governor continues to progress so will the website. The campaign will constantly add fresh content and new features to www.GreshamBarrett.com that empower voters to take an active role in the race.

“We’re not going to do things like they’ve always been done,” added Dyke. “Too often, folks feel like they don’t have a say in the political process, and we want to change that. One of our chief goals for www.GreshamBarrett.com is to give people a direct outlet to speak their minds and give input on the issues and on the campaign. We want visitors to the site to tell us what we’re doing right and to let us know what we could do better. But, most importantly we want to empower voters and to let them know that what they’ve got to say matters.”
