PIEDMONT — A Piedmont man said a woman who had been following him in a BMW assaulted the passenger and kicked his Kia Sorento on Friday, according to an Anderson County Sheriff’s Office incident report.

The victims said they had just pulled into a Hardee’s parking lot in Piedmont when the driver of the BMW started yelling and cursing at the passenger, the report said. She then threatened to kill the passenger and began punching him in the face, according to the report.

A man who had been driving with the suspect grabbed a bat and hit the rain guard on the vehicle’s window, according to the report.

The two then drove off, according to the report. A Hardee’s employee identified the two as her father and step-mother, but neither of the victims said they knew the suspects, the report said.
