Powdersville Middle School is having a Farewell Drop-In for Principal Monty Oxendine's retirement on Monday, May 24, from 5-8 p.m. Oxendine has served as the school’s principal since its doors opened in August 1991.

May 27 — Powdersville Council luncheon
The Powdersville Council of the Greater Easley Chamber of Commerce will hold its monthly luncheon at noon on Thursday, May 27 at the Powdersville Library. Capt. Darrell Hill of the Anderson County Sheriff's Office will be the speaker. The cost to attend is $12 for members and $15 for visitors.
