For The First Time A bloodhound Wins Westminster Dog show

The bloodhound's trumpet has won best in show

At the 146th Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show on Wednesday, June 22, Trumpet, a bloodhound, competes for best in show.

This is the first time the breed has ever won the most coveted best in show award in the U.S

People say that Trumpet's great-grandfather had the longest ears, with one measuring 13.5 inches and the other 13.75 inches.

After he won, Trump patiently posed for hundreds of photos

More than 3,000 purebred dogs, from affenpinschers to Yorkshire terriers, participated in the tournament.

In the end, Trumpet overcame a French bulldog, a German shepherd, a Maltese, an English setter

The bloodhound is a large scent hound that was originally made to hunt deer and wild pigs.
